Hey, I’m Lucy.

I’ve been a freelance marketer since 2016, building up my experience with clients while still working in my hospitality role at the time. I left Northumbria University with a Business & Marketing Degree, but I inherently knew I wanted to carve out my own way of working.

So, freelance life it was.

I collaborated with my sister & fellow marketeer for several years, working with agencies and startups, and supporting on a Google project for several years.

I’ve gained my experience with clients big and small, spanning industries from recruitment and professional services to hospitality, wellbeing therapists, and charities. I create and manage content for email marketing, social media, reports and white papers, websites, brochures and more.

My core experience is rooted in creating content, but over the years I’ve also worked with clients on how that content comes together as part of the bigger picture — strategy.

Working with agencies, established brands, and super small businesses, I was also able to identify a key disconnect that was impacting the way some put themselves out into the world (and appreciate the ones who did this well!) This disconnect lies in brand alignment and definition, which needs to be secure before you can confidently speak about your brand, create any kind of content, or ask anyone else to do it for you.

The only way you can effectively market your brand and create impactful content and communications is if you’re clear and confident in your positioning, messaging, and direction.
